South Milwaukee Middle currently has 14 students who make up two First Lego League teams.

Both teams are in the midst of preparing for upcoming competitions on Sunday, December 10th in Franklin, Wisconsin by engaging in research, problem-solving, and coding.

South Milwaukee Middle currently has 14 students who make up two First Lego League teams. Both teams are in the midst of preparing for upcoming competitions on Sunday, December 10th in Franklin, Wisconsin by engaging in research, problem-solving, and coding. Each team is building and programming a LEGO robot that navigates the missions of a robot game.

We are very proud of all the hard work that the teams are putting into their efforts and we wish them all the best in their upcoming competitions!  Go Rockets!

STEM teacher Julie Barnett’s Lego teams at South Milwaukee Middle School have started their season.

STEM teacher Julie Barnett’s Lego teams at South Milwaukee Middle School have started their season. With approximately 14 students, participants learn skills that include building robot courses, robot programming and using sensors.
